MN Promise in Motion: Summer Updates
We’ve had a powerful summer following the launch of the MN Promise Report–thank you to all the Fosters and partners who have shared their feedback on this vision for systems change! With tracked views and downloads from our website, we know at least 900 people across the country have accessed it, with countless more seeing the report through shares from our team and network.
We know it is possible for systems to invest in Fosters as a priority population, for Fosters to be seen and cared for by community, and for a future where Fosters have the same opportunities and outcomes as their peers. MN Promise is the roadmap to guide that work. Help us put the power of this roadmap in the hands of decision makers: we need $5,000 by September 15th in order to print the full report by October! You can support this print run as an individual or organization.
At Foster Advocates, one of our values is balance, and with that I’m preparing for an extended break in September! Our team will be focusing on back to school support for Fosters (sign up to meet with Sarah here) and wrapping up some exciting new resources. Fosters, we will announce MN Promise and other leadership opportunities in October. For now, save the date for September 24th for our next event, featuring a meet and greet with our new executive director!
